"Location was excellent. Easy to walk to subway, restaurants, etc. The room was very small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked having a restaurant and bar onsite. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. "

"We recently stayed at the Box House for a family wedding. We enjoyed several of the area restaurants and really liked how walkable the Greenpoint area is. "

"Very nice hotel but would’ve been nice to know that the pool and outdoor bar were under renovation. The downstairs bar was closed on a Friday night, apparently due to staff shortage. The room was immaculate though, bed very comfy, and friendly service all around. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room. Very safe, walkable location. "
