'We were shocked at the prices for hotels in Portland (in my opinion a way, overrated town) so we stayed here primarily because of price. But it's a nice gem worth considering. Room was comfortable. Breakfast nice. Host welcoming. And walking distance to the Freeport outlets and across from that now-famous McDonald's located in a historic house. Definitely eat at the Jameson Tavern (walking). One of the best burgers we've had, great fries too. (If you are tired of lobster and high prices).'

'All staff were super friendly and helpful. Room on 8th floor was huge, corner room, good views and could just see the ocean. We were disappointed the 15th floor bar and restaurant was closed the evening we were there. But plenty of restaurants just 10 to 20 minutes walk down to the old port area. Some areas, especially the exterior, need some tlc!'

'Veel te weinig zitplaatsen tijdens het ontbijt en werd ook zeer slecht bijgevuld. Onbeleefde baliemedewerker, hij klaagde nogal veel. Bij het uitchecken gooide hij zowat het bonnetje in mijn gezicht. Hij vroeg niet eens of alles was bevallen. Kamers waren wat muf maar redelijk zuiver.'
