'Het beste hotel van onze vakantie! Ik sluit me aan bij de andere beoordelingen. Wij verbleven 3 dagen (is naar mijns inziens lang genoeg!) Schitterend zicht vanaf de heuvel (wijngaard). Wij hadden de Superior Apartment (gelijkvloers) – (2 volwassenen + 2 kinderen). Kinderen slapen op de uitklapbanken in de keuken. Restaurant is TOP – zeker doen! De prijs is vergelijkbaar met gangbare prijzen in België en Nederland (+- 30 EUR/persoon inclusief wijnen en dessert). Tip: doe boodschappen in Orvieto...

'For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. Very hard to be quiet. Especially if you come in past midnight when all the doors are locked shut. Overall a great...

'Geweldig leuk boutique hotelletje met ruime kamers, goed bed en modern ingericht. Het ontbijt was simpel maar verzorgd en de dame die ons vroeg hoe we onze eieren wilden hebben was erg lief en serviceminded. Uniek was het feit dat we onze huurauto in de garage konden plaatsen waardoor ie veilig stond opgeborgen. De buurt om de guesthouse hebben we niet echt meegekregen. Maar de locatie was perfect voor ons doel. '

'Casa do Governador is a most pleasant small (7 rooms) agro-tourism hotel located in the countryside of the Alentejo Province. Manual and his staff are helpful and friendly. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous, especially the pool area and the various outside lounges near the main house. Having a car is a must to stay. The town of Evora is at a 12 to 15 minutes drive. It’s a midsize town full of history. Worth visiting with a guide.'
