'The property is pretty and convenient to a beach. The room and the property itself was clean. The share shelves were a nice touch. The facility is very primitive, meaning there is NO A/C, no staff onsite and no housekeeping. None of these things are bad if it's what you're expecting; however, this listing on Expedia does not mention any of these things, so it was a great disappointment to arrive and find out about the lack of AC and housekeeping. 'I am super impressed with how easy check in was, received an email with specific details. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was extra nice that our breakfast was in the room, especially because we wake up earlier than most guest. If we ever return to Volcano, we will absolutely be staying here again. Lots of restaurant options very close, the national park is extremely close too. Overall the perfect stay for my family. '

'This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. We left thinking we would like to stay again, perhaps stay two nights. Lovely hosts. '

'The property had everything we needed plus more. The hosts were suoer friendly when we bumped into them and and took the time to tell us about their home and some of the great things about the area. We saw toads, a gecko, meow meow and heard the amazing night chorus of the frogs. All this and we were staying on an actual coffee farm! Happy guests all round.'

'Can’t beat the view, felt very safe staying here as a single 25 year old. Yoga is not included, and you can’t book through their concierge for activities, fyi. Beach access was beautiful, not safe for swimming. Overall, very happy I found this place. Mahalo!'

'We had a really good experience staying at the Outrigger Kauai Resort. The resort had nice pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and a café gift shop. It was also really nice to walk out to the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets. The resort location was close to almost everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and functional with a great view from the lanai.'
