'We upgraded to a very nice room with a perfect view across the pool to the beach and the bay. We woke up at sun-rise every morning, threw open the curtains and the sliding glass doors, and had our breakfast on our balcony enjoying a restful morning. Restful, that is, until the construction began 5 floors down. Be advised that as of now - first week in June 2024 - the pool-side restaurant is under construction. They have opened a pool-side tent to fill the restaurant gap, very nice waitresses...

'Everything was great, and the staff accommodated us several times. Our flight kept getting bumped, and each time, they were prompt in helping, first a later check-in and another booking for another day. Cedric gave us an ocean view on our added day, and that made our last evening in Kauai even more special. Comphy beds, nice hot showers, and the daily cleaning was wonderful too.'

'Een ongewoon vriendelijke service en efficient antwoord op elke vraag zoals dat zelden voorkomt zelfs bij 5 sterren hotels kenmerkt de zeer positieve ingesteldheid van gans het personeel. Daarnaast zeer stijlvolle en moderne maar wat kleine kamers , wel zeer confortabele bedden en een leuk klein zwembad en ligweide zoals dat hoort bij een bourtique hotel. Enig minpunt de wat luide airco op de kamer en de piepkleine kluis waarin amper een ipad past.'

'This was one of our best stays in Hawaii overall across all the different islands. The property is well maintained for the guests. The villas room were spacious enough for 3 guests with an infant. The beach area is very serene and we loved to walk around. Food options in the lava restaurant were limited, but we still enjoyed the vibe. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who would want to stay in Poipu.'

'We had a good stay at the Point. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and big enough. There is everything you need. The furniture looks outdated, but it have it's charms. The resort looks great and we enjoyed the pool. The kids loved it. The drinks at the pool are good and affordable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is central to visit al the known tourist sites.We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this resort.'

Zwembad met hele oude vieze ligbedden, nauwelijks parasol’s, het beloofde strand is een public beach, die erg rommelig en niet opgeruimd oogt. Voldoend totaal niet aan de omschrijving op de site en de foto’s. Wij vonden het zo slecht dat we niet zijn gebleven.'

' Goed hotel met prachtige ligging en prettig zwembad (geen kinderbadje). Airco was super stil en werkte erg goed. Jammer dat er geen sport faciliteiten zijn en dat keuken uit niks meer en minder bestaat dan een koelkast. Er hing een bordje in de keuken indien je apparatuur miste dat je de receptie kon bellen. Wij hebben gebeld voor een brood rooster (redelijk standaard voor een hotel kamer met kitchenette lijkt mij) maar helaas die hadden ze niet. Een vorige gast had er zelf een keer 1 gekocht...
