'Service at check in was pleasant. We did have to wait a bit for staff to show up. Room was comfortable and clean. Surrounding area is less desirable. But not too bad. '

'Friendly staff, let me borrow an electricity adapter and served cookies at teatime. With breakfast you could bake your own waffles (great!), but the rest was also sweet (muffins, donuts, sugared flakes, etc). It lacked ordinary cheese or ham. My room was on the inside of the building, but on the top floor so some light from outside could enter.'

'What a great stay at the Sofitel! Excellent location--in walking distance to both high end, luxury shopping and more local boutiques, eateries, cafes and restaurants. Safe. Easy to Uber when necessary. The hotel itself is simply lovely. The new lobby bar and sitting area is incredible and the service was terrific. Breakfast is a cut above expected hotel fare and truly enjoyable. I will stay here again during my next trip to Philadelphia. '
