'Chalet #9 is a humble home with a direct path to beach (7 minute walk) and just a few blocks away from Sharky’s. The kitchen is small and there is no dishwasher, I share that in case you have a big intention to cook a lot, be prepared to hand wash (no problem for us). This is more built for 2 people, anymore would feel overwhelming. 1 parking spot right outside the door. The text updates were great with door codes for check in as well as the check out process. 'Our stay at the Rock House was full of relaxation and taking in the beauty of the architecture, details, and exploring the area. Walking distance to so many nice stops in metaline falls, including the cutter theater. The theater building houses a library that was a great place to bring our children and learn more about the first owner of the home.'

'We were only here overnight, on our way around the Olympic Peninsula. As soon as we walked in, we all said we wished we’d had more time. The house was modern and clean and fully stocked, and there were ample life jackets for the kayaks. It feels secluded, but it’s only 20 or so minutes from a Safeway (to the east) or the lodge (to the west). We would have stayed all week if we could have. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be back!'

'This was perfect for our weekend trip to Ocean Shores for my family and our dog! While you can't see the ocean from the unit, it is on the ocean side of the street and a very short walk to the beach. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean and our host was fantastic. There was even a basket with dog toys and a dog bowl! Would absolutely stay here again.'
