'Well situated for the centre of pocklington and the nice bars and cafes. Also easy access by foot to the wolds. Only slight issue would be the footpath to the side as can sound like someone next door until you realise it. Hosts very welcoming and offered good advice. Also nice to see the workshop'

'Property and rooms are beautiful and the pantry with snacks was handy with a toddler! Our room unfortunately had a leak through the ceiling on the first night, and all staff were amazing helping us sort it (thankfully we didnt need to move rooms). The girls on reception and manager were all welcoming, couldn't recommend the hotel enough. We will be staying again on our next visit!'

'The apartment is a spacious, comfortable one bedroom. The location is perfect for exploring York. There is a full size grocery store about a2 minute walk. We would love to stay here again.'

'Zeer goede B&B in klassiek Victoriaanse Britse villa met tuin. Excellent ontbijt, goede bedden. In rustige, groene buurt, winkeltjes aan overkant. Op 20 min lopen van centrum, goede busverbinding naar centrum en treinstation.'

The Grand, York is in a perfect position to stay while exploring the town and is within minutes...

'Really great stay. We love the hotel indigo in York having stayed there a few times in the past. We weren't disappointed this time and everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and the room really nice. Rachel also arranged for us to have the romance package as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have asked for more. '
