'Far out from the center, so be prepared to walk, take public transport of look for parking in town. Personnel was not helpful and seemed to be bothered when asked about recommendations. Room was small, dark and uncomfortable, with dust bunnies under the bed and furniture. We were bit by insects and had the feeling we were staying at a cheap youth hostel. 'We loved San Sebastian and found the hotel location very convenient. We are also very grateful for the wonderful help we received from the hotel Receptionist on the day we checked out. Our early morning flight was canceled and ti reschedule we needed a Spanish speaker. The Receptionist patiently spoke with the airline so we were able to reschedule without having to go to the airport. '

'Intentar evitar este sitio, es una comuna que lo único que busca es surf y fiesta hasta las 5 de la mañana. Está súper sucio y las habitaciones nosotros lo cogimos para 3 y no existe. Cuando llegas te dicen que está mal y que te tienes que adaptar a lo que hay.'

'I was travelling with my family already for 2 weeks and stayed in several different places, but this was certainly the one where we were received in a way that made us feel like home. The attention and kindness of the owner of the property were superb. A unique place, with a wonderful landscape and great welcome. We truly recommend!'

'Host was great, but hotel is hard to find due to the fact that it is actually called Pensìon San Thelma not San Juan. San Juan is the street. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and the noise was really bad due to the bar next door. Luckily I had earplugs. On the plus side the location in old town is hard to beat. Bu it is noisy everywhere there late into the night. If you need quiet stay in the newer part of town. '
