'A nice modern property and smart room. But travellers are not permitted to use facilities like kitchen, coffee machine, waste disposal and tv lounge. So, no where to sit in a comfy chair, make coffee or breakfast or watch tv. Shower room was quirky as the light turns off once you are at same temperature as the background! '

'Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Room is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Very cozy and warm in this cold weather (-2°C). Room has everything we need for our overnight stay. '

'We stayed in the superior double room with en-suite. It was lovely! Spacious, comfortable and clean. We loved having the use of a kitchen. Great location and super easy to catch a quick bus into the city centre. Overall very happy with our stay and would return! '

'The property was great and communication was good. The main problem is having to give a deposit prior to arriving. Given the options, it’s basically impossible for a US citizen that doesn’t have a UK bank account or credit card. The only way we could do it was to get someone we knew in the UK to pay it. 'Excellent place for solo travelers on budget. My only concern was with the sink, it has separate taps for hot and cold water, making it quite uncomfortable to use especially in the cold weather. '

'The location was perfect. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. It was amazing. The only complaint was the extremely uncomfortable bed. It was tolerable for the first couple of nights, but as time went on it got worse and worse. If your trip is a short one (2-3 nights tops), it would probably be fine. Over a week was rough for us. '

The lights were hanging by bare cable in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Dirty towels left on the back of my bedroom door. The house smelled musty and looked dirty. The same for the bedroom. There was a notice to say the kitchen couldn't be used for cooking. Finally one of the owners/managers asked me to move my car because another guest wanted...
