'Wonderful hotel with great location in the French Quarter near St Louis Church and Jackson Square. Had a balcony room located on corner of St Ann and Bourbon, and did not find it overly noisy for sleeping. The attached bar has great blues and jazz bands nightly. We were doing an extended trip after NOLA and drove in, used vallet parking offered by the hotel. Loved this hotel and New Orleans.'

'Staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull. Hotel is in the middle of city center, so this is very convenient. We stayed on the 11th floor, but we hardly heard anything at night of the busy city center (and we stayed during Mardi Gras)'

'Erg mooie locatie in centrum. Fijn zwembad en mooie stijl hotel. Service viel wat tegen: 3 x vragen voor roomservice is te veel voor dit bedrag. Daarnaast teveel afgeschreven cc voor internet en geen reactie op mail. '

'The Westin has won our hearts for future stays in the French quarter. Amazing staff, comfortable room and amazing views. Best bed - the heavenly Westin bed. The Observatory check in area is an outstanding place to hang out late afternoon before evening activities , or any other time, with nightly live music, great snacks and drinks to spend the $30.00 per night destination fee and the best views of the Mississippi River anywhere. We will be back soon! '

'Staff will make the difference, in the end. Despite some interesting 24/7 noise (running or leaking water), despite the double room with noisy connection to 2nd room (like being in the same room), we’d go there again. Its location, its overall offer including excellent breakfast, its beds and again its staff. Big cheers to our weeklong breakfast waitress Kaisey (go Honduras!), you made at least our wake-ups with your smile!'

"This location is perfect, just a block from the French Quarter and for a, in my opinion, low price. Hotel was great, clean, spacious, pretty up to date. Only downside; no breakfast, no pool or something like that. Not much to do in the hotel itself. Parking is (of course) pretty expensive and you can NOT park in the garage with a full size SUV or a high pickup because of the low and small garage entrance. Great place to stay! "
