'Overgeprijst hotel. Des Moines downtown stelt niets voor. Straten zijn na 18.00 uitgestorven. Voor wat betreft de services die je krijgt ligt de prijs van dit hotel 25% te hoog. Persoonlijke ervaring: mijn boeking was inclusief ontbijt, op de eindafrekening stond toch het ontbijt afgerekend. Tot op dit moment geen reactie hierop gekregen van het hotel. Zou er niet meer naar toe gaan. Tip: probeer een hotel in West Demoins te vinden. Meer levendigheid en met auto is centrum makkelijk binnen 15...

'The need was comfortable, the in room hot tub was nice and the room was clean. The toilet was constantly running until my husband fixed it. The hot tub stopper cover was loose and kept coming off. We had to level the refrigerator so it didn't dump everything out. Room obviously needs some maintenance. Otherwise was nice. '

'It was just ok. The first room they gave us was dirty and the entire floor reeked of someone's cooking. The second room was fine although not the bed type we requested. But was on a different floor that didn't stink. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was staff did fill shampoo dispensers in the shower. Front desk staff were VERY VERY friendly and great coffee in the lobby. Price was fine but wouldn't stay again '

'My Place Hotel in Akeny IA is more of a quick, economical, budget friendly hotel. Room and accommodations, bed all sufficient, however the Hotel is used by many traveling service people so as a single woman, I felt it wasn’t perhaps as safe that had a greater mix of families. That said the hotel is in a great location with restaurants, the halls are well lit, and overall a very good choice for the price.'
