'Great place! Big rooms, nice/modern decor, really nice breakfast included in the rate. Was November so couldn’t enjoy the rooftop but hear that’s awesome in the summer. Will definitely e back! '

'The Charlevoix House was delightful and very closely located by the ferry boat dock and downtown. The only complaint I had was the very creaky floor of the very old house. The staff is very aware of it and planning to address it. Though one could say the creaking floor was a feature of the old house, and not a complaint. All the rooms were unique, and the kitchen and common areas were nice and spacious.'

'Hosts were awesome and the food amazing. Needs updating and Christmas decorations were up in summer. If you don't like seeing taxidermy, this is not the place for you. Very beautiful and secluded surroundings. '

'My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well....

'The Garden room had very comfortable bed and pillows, and nice towels, a TV and small Fridge. View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. One thing that bothered me is that there was no sheet to protect touch from quilt. '

'Nice property and location. Unit could use some updates & minor repairs, but overall clean and we had a nice stay'

'I checked in and there was white crusted substance right on the comforter top, along with other places on the comforter. The pillowcase had washed out blood and other liquids stained on the corner. I had to sweep the place when I got there, and so many other things (don’t expect to eat without washing all pots and pans they are covered in sawdust from no working drawer). I took off all bedding and slept on towels. I contacted the contact given and was able to leave property however no refund...
