My only dislike was the threat of a $20 charge if a thin, generic, and not particularly nice "pool towel" wasn't returned. 'The property was breathtaking the pictures do not do justice. We went to Mendocino for our anniversary weekend for the first time and it was the best experience. The staff was so lovely and kind and the rooms are one of a kind. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Just simply stunning I have to come back and stay here again. The room is small and there is nowhere to store luggage or your clothing aside from a small hanging area. 'We slept in tower 1. Very nice room with an excellent bed and clean. The people are very nice. The Inn is nearby the center of Mendocino and is in walking distance of everything. We enjoyed our stay very much. Improvement suggestion: less sugar during breakfast! Everything they serve is sugar rich. Very sweet granola, only sweetened joghurt, sweet scones; no natural joghurt, no ham and no cheese.'
