'The White Horse Lodge was very convenient in our few days trip around Vermont. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room, though small, was clean and comfortable. This would be an excellent choice for skiers- close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Nice facilities include a living room and game room. '

'The room was very comfortable and clean, fairly recently updated. I thought it was quite nice. The elevator was broken so we had to haul our bags up to the third floor and hike back and forth. That part was not fun. The shampoo container on the wall in the shower was empty. It's an older hotel, not fancy, but decent. We had breakfast in their restaurant and it was good, not great. The avocado toast was a total rip-off. Overall, I thought it was a decent place to stay.'

'Het gebouw is een soort woonhuis van 100 jaar oud. Dat betekent veel lift en krakende houten vloeren trappen. Kamer klein en eenvoudig. Elders was een koelkast te gebruiken. Ruime parkeer gelegenheid gratis. Service is vriendelijk en goed. Het huis biedt op het balkon gelegenheid om te zitten en wat te drinken. Wel is de prijs te hoog voor wat er geboden werd. Maar het is wel centraal gelegen in montpelier.'

'The area in Vermont was beautiful. The resort was clean and comfortable, but electrical outlets were worn out, could be a safety issue. The place had 2 TVs, but neither could work. The ownership of the resort is remote and had to call an 800 number for issues. We did not see any local management. The appliances in kitchen all worked good, and we liked being able to have space to make our own meals sometimes. The bathrooms had nice showers and clean. The beds were comfortable but not luxurious....

'We were one of two couples staying the night. Overall the place was quaint and quiet. While it is an old house/inn the charm is top notch. The breakfast was wonderful. It was our first visit to Vermont and would love to come back! Oh and the cat was friendly too!'
