'Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. '

'It was OK for a one night stay; the bed was squeeking every time we turned on it (did not sleep well because of it), there wasn't a curtain so the room was lit up from sun-up and it looked like there hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The breakfast was lovely though, and the folks running the place were friendly and accomodating. '

'Fijn hotel, mooie spa, heerlijke kamer met vuurpot op terras. Hotel personeel niet de slimste. Inchecken kostte veel tijd. Restaurantpersoneel slecht. Wijn werd niet gebracht. Moest dat zelfs eisen onder dreigement van eten terugsturen. Zou er zeker niet gaan eten. We hadden eend. Deze was zelfs niet met een mes te snijden. Klacht aan het personeel verteld. Antwoord wat we kregen was dat de chef dat ook vond. Geen excuus of aanbieden van een koffie na. Bediening zeer slecht.'

'Het hotel was gezellig. Echt een oud gebouw. Onze kamer was net opgeknapt en je zag dat dit met liefde was gedaan. Op dit moment worden alle kamers opgeknapt ( 1 voor 1). Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en het eten is prima. '

'We spent 4 nights at the Kings Head and it was a perfect place to stay. The newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and very roomy, and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the local sausages. Stepping into the bar was like going through a time portal into the 1600's: there was a cozy fire burning, low beamed ceilings, and pewter tankards hanging from hooks. The fresh local fish on the daily special's menu was superb. But best of all was the attentive, friendly service from...

'Good location for us. Very comfortable brilliant shower. The night storage heating kept me up until I realised the noise was coming from there then turned it off. ( not needed room was very hot) would definitely stay again '
