'Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.'

'Our group had a couple of unfortunate events upon our arrival and exit were all completely smoothed over by Aaron and his team through near instant communication and attention to detail that made our stay the enjoyable and memorable experience it was. The place is 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor that made easy access to everything. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. When you have a host willing to go above and beyond, the VRBO vacations are all the better!'

'We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder.
