During that time, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. He did have the treatable kind with a good prognosis. My Dad went through his 7 weeks of radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, he died in his sleep 2 days after his last day of treatment. My whole family decided that we would honor my fathers wish and spend our Christmas in this home...
