'Stayed for one night in room 20 which is a family room. The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, USB charging, plenty of sockets, large bath and roomy shower. It is also well laid out for a family room with 2 separate areas. The double bed for the grown ups was good, although the sheet could have been a little bigger as it kept coming off and wouldn’t tuck back around. But the 2 single beds were disappointing, the mattresses were thin and my daughter could feel every...

'oud verblijf, netjes en compleet ingericht, vriendelijk. Geen hoogvlieger maar een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Geselecteerd op parkeermogelijkheid....dus niet. Langs de weg in het dorp of op een betaalde parkeerplaats uit het zicht. '

'We stayed at the Clarenden for one night. Communication leading up to the stay was excellent. The hotel was traditional with original features but comfortable for the modern guest. The room was quite small but comfortable and clean. It was a very cold night leading up to the recent storm and the room was quite cold. Apart from that it was a very pleasant stay. '

'Perfect location and we loved the spacious rooms around the restaurant and bar as we had our dog with us. The staff in the evening were amazing when we were having ‘one last drink’ in the lounge. They helped others with eating places still open and even rang them to expect orders. Breakfast is top quality and very well cooked. This stay, our room needed some TLC. The radiator has seen better days, as has the carpet and the bath/shower combo only suits the super flexible due to the very high step...
