'Good location, friendly helpful staff Great cooked breakfast. Room under the roof a 'ittle warm'

'Room was clean, the decor was in need of a refresh. The carpet on the stairs leading up to the rooms is very off putting and had me worried about the room itself. So I was pleasantly surprised. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok, plenty of hot water and the shower was great. Breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant. '

'The car park is some way away from the house. The bedroom we had was small and the shower room was quite remarkable in that it was such a small space but was perfectly adequate.'

'Lovely old country house in beautiful grounds . Paid extra for a lake view , but not much of it to see. Staff are lovely . Breakfast , plenty to choose from , toast and juice not topped up or asked if we needed anything else. Room was basic for amount paid. Walls needed cleaning / repainting. Bathroom , dust and spiders ,black mould in the shower, needs a deep clean. Bed was broken and didn’t fit together , and made a lot of noise when getting in and out. Clean bedding , and towels. 'The hotel room was lovely. Couldn’t fault it. Hotel its self is lovely. Nice chilled atmosphere. Where it lets itself down is food. Dinner on first evening was terrible. Chips hard and overcooked. Onion rings hard and dripping in fat. Mussels overcooked and way too salty. Breakfast next morning was lukewarm. '
