'Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. '

'Parking space was a great plus. A nice old traditional pub with plenty tables outside. Bed comfortable enough for one night stay. Good, powerful shower. Delicious full english breakfast. Dining room was a little fusty and in need of a some TLC and the evening meal was a bit overpriced for what it was but still an overall charming stay in this gorgeous location. '

'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...
