'Maria and Randy have done a truly outstanding job of renovating this house into a luxurious retreat in the mountains. The accommodations were beyond what I expected. The details within the house itself are seen in every room. Randy kept as much of the original structure as possible so there is a rustic feel alongside the modern finishes. 'My friends and I stayed here recently while in town for our college reunion. The location can’t be beat- easy access to downtown Lexington, W&L, VMI, the Chessie Trail, etc. We will be back!'

'This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question.'

'The house and outside of the property were just perfect! The swings and hot tub were the high light of our stay ( be sure to check the tire swing for any nests, made that mistake and ended up being stung by a wasp….nest fell with me off the swing so we carefully moved it away from the swing) Inside was cozy and comfy. AC unit was a little hard to understand at first but it works like a gem! Will definitely be recommending and would totally stay again'
