This spacious apartment overlooking the beautiful Brouwersgracht canal near the jordaan is certainly unique, we have a big family bedroom with space for maximum 4 persons & a bathroom. We live upstairs; we share a hallway, where we both have our private entree to our own floors. So the apartment is fully private. Centrally located in the historic center in the UNESCO protected canals of Amsterdam. Suitable for couples & families up to 4 persons. Located on the 3rd floor easily accessible via a wide stairwell. All major attractions within walking distance. As well as the best restaurants, bars, stores and clubs.

We really enjoyed the central location and the opportunity to stay in such a charming canal house. The house was spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were very helpful. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but anyone with mobility issues might find the flights of stairs challenging. There were no negatives - we were just surprised that there was no shower gel and a few drops of hand soap left in the dispenser on arrival. We ended up having to buy our own and leaving it for the next person. The lounge had a few old stains on it and the bath towels could do with an upgrade. These are just small things, but they make a difference when you are paying a decent price for accommodation.

Loved the space. View was amazing. Bed comfy. Plenty of space. Clean and convenient. Less than 15 minute walk to centraal station. Be sure to stop at the ekoplaza food market 2 blocks away for groceries.

What a location and what a view
The location allowed us to walk to anything (including the train station) we wanted to visit. The view of the canal out the front window never got old. Jesse was a very welcoming host. The apartment was very well sized for the two of us visiting. We found pastries, cheese, wine and general groceries within a couple of blocks. Thanks to Jesse for a great experience.

Wonderful!
As long as you can scale 3 spacious flights of stairs, you will not be disappointed! My wife and I (early 60’s), found this to be a very centralized location and enjoyed our walks exploring the many neighborhoods. While there are many restaurant options, we also liked the option of preparing our favorite home cooked meals. Another favorite was eating takeout or dessert on the wooden benches overlooking the canal intersection. Especially entertaining was how skilled the local bicyclist’s are at dodging clueless tourists…like us! Our host, Jesse, was also exceptional. Safe travels!

Amazing property in lovely neighborhood
The apartment was perfect for our needs. It is centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood- perfect for an authentic Amsterdam experience. The host was responsive and welcoming. Exceptional VRBO rental
The flat was spacious, spotless, very comfortable and in a great neighborhood close to areas of interest, transit, tasty restaurants, groceries and it had excellent views of the canal and area. Jesse was an excellent host, swift and clear communicator, attentive & available when help was needed. If I dreamed up a place to stay for our 1st trip to Amsterdam, this was it...grateful for the lovely and safe home away from home, and for Jesse's kindness, flexibility and good cheer. This is a terrific rental, I highly recommend it.

You are definitely in the mix.
The host let us know early in the day that we could check in early. Fantastic. A short walk from the train station. A short walk to anything in Amsterdam. It's in the city, it's not quiet until bar close ( but that's pretty early in this section of the city ) and thankfully the bedroom is in the back of the space and always quiet. A beautiful view from the windows and right on the canal. Lovely.

The apartment was PERFECT. The location, to the interior, to the beds, everything. The stay was all we wanted and more. Easy to get around by foot, or Uber. The sunsets out the window are not for the faint of heart, so be warned not to miss those.

Excellent in every way!
I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry. Take the hallway to the left and there is an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The living area has gorgeous views of the Canal and neighborhood. A highlight of our stay was napping on the couch with the window open listening to the sounds of the city below. From the apartment, it is easy to walk to attractions, cute neighborhood shops, restaurants and bars, and public transit. The location is equal parts charming and convenient. The hosts went above and beyond for us. A member of our family had a medical emergency during the stay and they were responsive, caring, and allowed us extra time in the apartment to figure out next steps. We were also so grateful for the laundry facilities in this situation, as our stay was extended due to the emergency and clean clothing was one less logistical detail we needed to sort out. We tested this apartment as both a launch pad to adventure and as a place of respite during a crisis. It excelled at both. I wouldn’t hes

Very nice location with lovely view
We had a great time, and though several minor issues came up during our stay, they were addressed quickly, and communication was excellent. It is a top floor, with no elevator, which might be a concern for some, but Mike was very helpful. I would recommend.

Amsterdam - short stay
The apartment is located in an excellent position to access all the main sights including Anne Frank's House, Rembrandt's House, Dam Square, etc. and close to centraal staion for easy travel to other parts of the Netherlands and Schipol Airport. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with excellent facilities and a wonderful view over the canals. I thoroughly recommend the apartment and the host, Jesse, who was very helpful throughout our stay.

This place is beautiful. Very comfortable. Location is convenient, we walked with our suitcases to & from the Amsterdam Central Station. Beautiful views from the window along the canal. The property manager was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for restaurants and grocery store, etc. Note: Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Fantastic place to stay!
Jesse was a wonderful host from our initial inquiry and through our stay! He was quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival. The apartment is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops close by. It's very centrally located, but not in a loud, touristy neighborhood. Perfect spot. It was fun to sit by the window and watch the variety of boats pass by on the canal. It is very spacious, clean and has all the amenities for a relaxing vacation!

Well-appointed private apartment exactly as advertised. Everything was very clean and also updated. We stayed for 7 nights in VERY comfortable beds. We Googled instructions for the washing machine and host provided excellent drying rack. Location was not only picturesque but also only 2 blocks from public transportation and 5 min from Central Station. Multiple flights of stairs were doable. Would stay there again in a minute!

The location of this property was perfect for all the attractions that were accessible and nearby. The size was wonderful and spacious. We were right no the intersections of two canals and had a perfect birds eye view of all the King's Night(April 25th) and King's Day (April 26th) including the boat parade. It was noisy which was fine as the bedrooms are in the back of the building so our sleep was not disturbed. A lovely neighborhood place. And a great end to our river cruise and trip.

Great Apartment in Perfect Location
Such a fantastic stay! We traveled to Amsterdam with our family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 8). Location was perfect - walking distance to grocery stores, cheese stores, canal cruise locations, the Anne Frank house, cute pubs/cafes, etc. Very close and easy access to Central Station, too! Try Oma's fries around the corner - they're great! Jesse is a great host and is very easy to communicate with. Apartment is up some stairs but we found the stairwell to be wide and easy to navigate. Kitchen was great to have, as was the washing machine in the bathroom. We brought a travel/camping clothesline to dry our clothes after washing and that came in handy. We would absolutely book here again! Thanks, Jesse, for a great stay!
