'Oh, my. I don’t know where to start. From the tour of the home when we arrived, the incredible homemade sourdough rolls that I could’ve never made myself, the thoughtfulness of a welcome letter and local coffee shop gift card - there are not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was. This was our first VRBO experience, though we’ve booked a lot of other rental properties around Alaska, and never have we encountered such kind homeowners. 'Clean and quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night. Central location for shopping and restaurants. We would have liked local TV channels but they are not available. We would stay here again.'

'The property was close to many amenities(good restaurants, coffee shop) a short walk away but the property itself was in a fairly run down part of town. I think a new coat of paint and some deep cleaning on the heating unit would really freshen the place up. There was a nice supply of kitchen essentials and the best quality paper towel and toilet paper. It was a very good price for what it was but we didn't love it.'

'We are Alaskan residents that never stop working. This was a much needed retreat. This cozy cottage has all amenities available, even an electric skillet which i needed to make breakfast. This is a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place. The hot tub was clean and refreshing with the chilly air. We will definitely return! Hosts were very helpful. '
