'We stayed at this home Christmas week. It proved the perfect base for family aged 87 to 16. There was room enough for everyone to spread out. Commuications were excellent and host was very responsive. Our goal was to be able to have both traditional holiday dinners and gatherings and the adventure of exploring monuments and museums.The set up would also be convenient for families with younger children. If you want plush spa towels and fine linens - like you might expect at a hotel - bring them....

'Great location for Nationals games or DC area sight seeing. If all you need is a safe place to lay your head and not bleed out your wallet, this place is a simple, no frills to do just that. Shower was roomy with great pressure. Beds were ok. You do have to walk thru one room, then thru the bathroom, to the twin beds room but wasn’t a big deal for us and our teen boy. No kitchen sink but we didn’t eat in. That’s the beauty of a trip away. Local place for custard and food were awesome. Explored...

'Wonderful stay for a mixed family of 7 for Spring Break in DC!! The house was spacious, slept our group comfortably, and had every amenity we needed. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and there were multiple extra sets of linens for bathing. The house, built in 1906, has been beautifully updated. Each bathroom fully met our needs. Access to public transportation was very simple, just a half block to the metro line that took us all the way into the mall and museums. We were able to...

'This property was more than I could’ve asked for. It was located next to the best restaurants and shops. I parked in the Courthouse garage which was only 10/day. I felt safe walking by myself with my kids at night in the area. Also there was always an Uber close by. Will definitely be coming back!'
