'We did not expect a 2 story condo with 1.5 baths, a kitchen and 2 balconies decks. It was beautiful in the pine trees and you could hear a pin drop. There was a gas bbq and a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi. It is an older property that could use some screen doors to open some sliders and a few repairs with kitchen drawers that fell out. We should have brought salt, pepper, foil as we did not bring some of these basics. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would like to return again. '

However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean...

The stay was extremely comfortable and nestled inside a beautiful wooded area. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this place. '

'We really enjoyed our stay in this tranquil, comfortable home. It has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked and the beds are comfy. We loved the view of the trees from the living room. The owners were great to communicate with. We were lucky to catch the fall colors in the area and enjoyed several visits to Big Trees State Park. We hope to return! '

'We needed a place near the Snowflake Lodge for only one night. This place fit the bill. For some reason this booking never showed up in the VENMO app. That made it very difficult to get check-in instructions. Also, there was no cell reception for T-Mobile and Verizon. So download EVERYTHING you might need before you get there. WiFi at the property was reasonable. Small irritations: Three light bulbs were burned out, we found one replacement bulb. Was not told dishwasher wasn't working...

'We travelled from IL to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter who lives in California. This cabin was a special place- clean, serene, and had spectacular views. Everything we could need was provided, and the beds were luxurious and had the softest linens. We’d love to come Back again!'

'What a great mountain home, close to local trails and Calaveras Big Trees! Our kids and grandkids had the entire downstairs to themselves, and our other adult daughter and us (the grandparents) stayed upstairs! Everything we needed for cooking and comfort was provided. Thank you!'

We were celebrating our sons 10th bday and he wanted snow so we crossed our fingers and chose this cabin as it looked perfect for our group stay. He got a very snowy wish! So much so we canceled our dinner plans for the evening and just stayed in. The house kept us warm and comfortable. The kids had a great time playing and sledding in the snow around the house.
