Willie Mae's Cottage in The Homestead B&B

Welkom bij de historische Homestead in de Dripping Springs. Dit huis is een van de drie beschikbare verblijven, elk van de drie woningen is uniek voor hun tijdsperiode, stijl en omgeving. Clara's House en Butler Cabin maken allemaal deel uit van de Homestead bij de Dripping Springs en kunnen tegelijkertijd worden gereserveerd om in totaal 8 personen te slapen.
Ze zijn centraal gelegen in het historische district Mercer Street in Dripping Springs, dicht bij winkels, trouwlocaties, wijnroutes, parken en prachtige landelijke wegen.

De nieuwste toevoeging aan de Homestead is Willie Mae's Cottage. Het is een huisje met rotsen en planken / latten met een betegelde inloopdouche, een grote badkamer, een kitchenette en een eethoek met uitzicht op de grote eik en schommel. De steen die werd gebruikt om het huisje te voltooien, werd ingericht vanuit de oorspronkelijke rokerij op het historische pand. Dit romantische huisje is ingericht met antiek uit die tijd en opnieuw gebruikt hout uit de gemeenschap. Grote zijporch met rockers die uitkijken over de historische corral en oude eik.

Inclusief gratis continentaal ontbijt, flatscreentelevisie, WiFi, queensize bed, haardroger en een snackmand vol lekkers.

Willie Mae's Cottage
This is an absolute gem in the downtown area of Dripping Springs. Willie Mae's Cottage is constructed from the stones of the old smokehouse from this historical property, with a pine barrel dome ceiling and charming antique decor. The little porch looks out over the old stone corral with a huge oak tree. Explore the springs on the opposite side of the property and all of the downtown shops! The owner/ managers are absolutely the most lovely people you could meet! This was my second stay here and I will return!

Beautiful little spot in Dripping Springs
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this sweet cottage and will be back if we are in the area. The outdoor space was especially nice. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and down in the yard.

Right on Mercer Street walking distance to good food, adult beverages and shopping. Great location for surrounding things to do in area. House has sound machine which was a plus. Nice breakfast basket for stay, fruit and breakfast bread banana nut and blueberry yum.

Cottage at The Springs
This was such a delightful and relaxing place to stay. The cottage is built from rock that was part of the old smoke house. It is roomy and faces the old rock corral around a giant oak tree. I loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs with guest who came to visit. This is a historical old homestead with the "Dripping Springs" on the property. Downtown Dripping Springs is a short walk with charming shops but honestly, I enjoyed the cottage more!

More than we expected...
When we got there everything was as they said it would be. The homemade bread(yum) was ready and waiting. You can tell the property is very well cared for. It really did exceed our expectations. There is a such thing as positive energy and this place has it. It really set the tone for our Dripping Springs experience. A special thank you to Sherry and Charlie. We will be back.

We were there for my daughters wedding and the Cottage was just perfect. Beautifully decorated and the morning breakfast loaf was a wonderful touch. I would stay there again. Blue Bonnets in bloom all over the property made it even prettier.
