'The house is beautiful, the beds were comfy,the neighborhood was calm and comfortable, the hot tub was clean and hot. The issues keeping this from a 5 star is there was only 3 towels in a house that is supposed to accommodate 8. The chairs for the table were about to break and the couch was not very and very close to the ground. '

'We grew up in the Kern River Valley. If you’re looking to gather with friends/family this place offers a great inviting space! It’s close enough to walk to town and cozy enough to want to stay in. We will definitely look to rebook in future visits. '

'We had a great time in Kernville. Excellent house we stayed in, couldn't have been nicer! Clen, updated, fully furnished, very refreshing....and great location and view of the mountains. Terrific meals at Ewings, KRBC, El Rio and Cheryl's! Tried fishing, no luck, but still fun. We'll be back and hopefully the property will be available for us!Kent'

'Stayed for over a month in the house and it was amazing. Very spacious and with all necessary accessories for our long stay. The location of the house is in a quiet residential area with a nice neighborhood. We felt very safe there. The hosts are great and responded to all our requests very fast. They even bought a baby bassinet for our stay. Can not ask for more. We will definitely book the house again for our next stay in Bakersfield.
