'A friend and I visited Bakersfield to spend time with a friend who is having serious health issues. We wanted a place to take her to give her some respite. We even brought her 3 children over for one day to give her husband a break from caregiving. The playground area was perfect for them to burn off some energy. 'My family, 12 lb dog and I stayed here to get away from the New Year's ruckus. This was an excellent way to do that. The house was very spacious and comfortable so we settled in quickly. The weather was very cold when we got there, but thankfully our host left us heaters in our rooms and we had them on while the house warmed up. 'What a charming mountain cabin packed full of amenities! There wasn't any snow in late December when we visited, but just a short 25-minute drive up the mountain got us plenty to play in. This place sleeps a ton of people for not a whole lot of space, and comes with a decently-outfitted kitchen for cooking adventures. Would definitely visit again!'

'Private riverside retreat. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. During our stay the river flow was very fast and there were quite a lot of rafts and kayakers going by. So very cool to watch and cheer them on. The house had all the amenities you could think of- meaning you could cook and not have to brimg anything from home - like OMG I forgot the can opener...Ive done that before. 'great space of a large group. The house feels safe and secure, with just about everything we needed for cooking, which we did every night. great big table in dining area and small round table in kitchen area, giving us ample seating for meals and board games. Very convienent to town and shopping. Huge back yard for the kiddos and dogs. Our host Debra was very helpful. we will absolutely book another trip for next year.'

'The cabin/ house is lovely and updated. The house is fully furnished & stocked with all the essentials to enjoy staying in.We enjoyed our stay.The location is close to the pool and tennis courts I was just disappointed that we couldn’t communicate with Vrbo or evolve customer service support or owner. We had some questions since there wasn’t a booklet available that described some of the things that were missing or not working. But overall good stay and would book again.'
