'We had a great time at the homestead! We loved that we were very close to downtown Lawrence, but could also experience some quiet downtime on the lovely front porch. The coffee set up was really cute and the home had everything we needed.'

'The home was absolutely perfect and we loved staying there! My overall rating is not affected by my ratings for check in and communication. The home was double booked. I am so glad I arrived first or I would have been stuck trying to find a last minute stay to accommodate 6 people on KU family weekend. It would have been impossible. My mother in-law is disabled and accommodations have to be carefully vetted. I had also prepared a precooked dinner and was hosting several friends and family so...

'We had an amazing time at Gayle's place in Lawrence. It was a quick walk to Allen Fieldhouse for the KU / UNC basketball game which made the house very convenient for our primary event of the weekend. The house was also a great place to unwind and relax before and after the game. Overall an amazing experience!'

'The only reason I didn’t give this property ab5 star rating in every area was the beds. There are 4 beds in 4 bedrooms and none of them was comfortable. We ended up trying all 4 over the course of our 5 night stay like Goldilocks. Everything else about the property was great—clean, well appointed and the perfect location. '

'We were in De Soto to visit family. We really enjoyed our stay at Grandma B's - it was perfect for us. It was comfortable, clean, & well equipped in every way. It is an historic type of house that has been nicely updated & decorated while maintaining it's character. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch one of the mild evenings. We most definitelly will stay here when returning to town. Thank you!'
