'We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring...

'We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you.'

'An excellent holiday apartment. My niece and I enjoyed our stay there. Weather was very pleasant and my niece enjoyed many walks around Dundrum. We had beautiful meals, especially at The Bucks Head in centre of village. We shall be looking to return again for a break.'

'Reached out days before arrival to get check in information and Had lockbox for key. Bread, pancakes, mini muffins with butter provided. Used notebook left for instructions on check out. Only one bathroom for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Located 30 minutes driving time to Belfast. Parking on street or at church. Very cute cafe shop located across the streets with delicious fresh homemade donuts. Room were clean.'

'Gorgeous place! Stayed for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it. Great attention to detail and spotless. The view is stunning. If you want to stay here - I wouldn’t suggest it if you don’t drive as it on a hill that would be difficult to get to if not. For us this was great as the experience felt private.'

'We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. 'We had a really lovely one night stay here to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to let them know of the occasion, and they kindly gave us a room upgrade and left a note and cupcakes in the room. Acknowledgements like this really make a hotel stand out and we were very happy. It was the first time we had stayed since the refurbishment, and all areas of the hotel are beautiful. 'Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer goed onderhouden authenthiek hotel. Voor diner kan je in restaurant en in bar terecht, voor drinks heb je gin bar en grotere bar die gezellig aangekleed is. Ruime en comfortabele kamers. Een minpuntje is dat ontbijt beperkt is en geen warm buffet. '

"Made reservation with mentioning payment upon arrival, took the amount from the credit card the day before. Disco aside and during night lot of noice of people, cars chasing on parking and music. Rooms bad smell of fungus. Breakfast poor quality, poor service. "
