Barefoot Bungalow - Charmant strandhuis aan de zandige oevers van Lake Huron

Geniet van de schoonheid van het Huronmeer met een 30 meter breed zandstrand dat je kilometers kunt bewandelen. Dit huis met 4 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ligt in een eigen straat dicht bij winkels, golfbanen en restaurants. Fantastisch terras om te genieten van het uitzicht en alles wat je nodig hebt om te genieten van het strand dat beschikbaar is voor je gebruik - stoelen, handdoeken, speelgoed van zand, waterspeelgoed. Een buitendouche om het zand van de dag weg te wassen en een omheinde achtertuin voor extra privacy. Met onze volledig uitgeruste keuken en gasbarbecue kunt u uw eigen maaltijden bereiden als u dat wilt. Het perfecte einde van een dag spenderen in de golven is het maken van s'mores over de vuurplaats aan het strand of ontspannen in de sauna. Uitzicht op het meer vanuit de keuken, eetkamer, zitkamer, master, 4 seizoenen kamer en loft. Het ligt direct tussen Tawas en Oscoda en biedt toegang tot allerlei soorten zomers plezier met festivals, films / muziek in het park, leuke winkeltjes, geweldige restaurants, vuurtorens, putt-putt en gerenommeerde golfbanen. Gelegen in de buurt van de rivier AuSable met mogelijkheden voor kajakken, kanoën en slangen. Er zijn ook prachtige uitzichten op de herfstkleuren met het land van de staat aan de overkant van de straat. Lange oprijlaan met voldoende parkeergelegenheid en een basketbalring voor de lol. Fietstochten, wandelpaden, zon en zand maken Barefoot Bungalow de perfecte bestemming om te genieten van Pure Michigan. Kom en ervaar de zonsopgang op zijn best! De "Barefoot Bungalow" was eerder vermeld als "Little Fishy" en we verwelkomen terugkerende gasten.

We hebben verschillende vragen gehad over de toestand van het strand in het seizoen 2019. Ondanks de recordhoge meren, heeft Barefoot Bungalow nog steeds een zandstrand van ongeveer 20 voet diep. Een foto van het water genomen in augustus 2019 is toegevoegd om de omstandigheden dit jaar te tonen. Het meer en het strand veranderen voor altijd, maar zelfs met het water op het hoogste niveau tot nu toe, is er nog steeds genoeg strand om van te genieten!

We zijn constant bezig om ons eigendom bij te werken en er een mooie en comfortabele plek van te maken. Houd dit in de gaten voor nog meer updates voor het zomerseizoen 2020!

Amazing property
This is our 5th year in a row staying here and it never disappoints. We had a great time as usual! The renovations to the master bath were really nice. One thing we love about this property is that the owners continue to make upgrades over the years and you can tell they really care about providing a quality experience. The beach is absolutely fantastic. It cannot be beat.

Lovely, sandy Lake Huron beach
Great house for our family's summer vacation! We have stayed at many MI beach houses over the years and this Lake Huron beach was particularly amazing! It's a huge beach area that is sandy, and the lake was shallow for quite a long stretch. There's a nice wooden swing at the beach area and campfire ring. The back porch is large with very nice furniture. In addition, the house was well-equipped with everything we needed and big enough for our group of 8.

The house is very nice. The location on a sandy beach on Lake Huron is perfect. Our grandchildren loved playing in the water on the sandbars. The home is the perfect size for our group of 11 family members.

The perfect beach vacation
It was so nice to walk out the back door and be feet from the most amazing sand beach. The host provides lots of beach chairs, and toys for the kids, as well as floatation vests and kickboards. The fire pit is nice, though, for us, it was quite windy. Even during inclement weather, the view from the house is amazing. The cottage was an easy drive to East Tawas, and we were lucky enough to be there for the annual Craft Fair at the downtown park.

4 Years and Still Fabulous
Stayed in July-Aug of 2023. We have been renting this property every year for the last 4 years and we also booked our 5th year for next summer. We have found that the owners are super easy to work with and are very attentive to all needs. They have continually made improvements to the house through the years and while it was beautiful from the get go, the improvements are also so appreciated. The beach here cannot be beat. We can't get enough of it. And we love Tawas and Oscosa. Tawas especially is the cutest town and our kids never stop talking about going to Benjamin Franklin for souvenirs and toys. Love it here, thanks again!

Perfect for family vacation!
Our family of 6 adults, a young child, and 2 babies were extremely happy and comfortable in this spacious, well appointed home. Cleanliness was excellent, and the homeowner has provided a well equipped kitchen. We loved the Lake Huron views, especially at dawn. Many happy hours were spent on the clean, private sandy beach, and it’s shallow for a long way out, so perfect for kids. The photos are accurate ! Not an exaggeration! It’s a perfect place for a family vacation 😊

Bravo Barefoot Bungalow
This was our second stay at Barefoot Bungalow. It was everything we enjoyed last year and more. It was thoughtful of Jayme to special order warmer weather this year! The complementary bottle of wine is such a nice touch. The home is spacious yet cozy, with a great kitchen our Ramsey-level chef was able to work in with ease. The mattress upgrades from queen to king in the master and from double to a queen in one of the bedrooms added to everyone's comfort. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and hope to make Barefoot Bungalow THE place for our merry band of birders to gather every May.

It’s all good here!
Clean comfortable accommodations on a beautiful sandy beach! 10 adults and 3 littles under 4 had plenty of room for dining, sleeping, and playing. LOTS of water and sand toys as well as storybooks, blocks and crayons for rainy times. It was a perfect place for our family vacation!

Perfect Beach House for the Family !
Everything about this property is delightful! The owner has thought of every detail to make her guests’ vacations more pleasant, from the extremely well equipped kitchen to beach towels and toys. The house is completely clean and is very spacious, nicely furnished, and well designed for family vacations. There are 3 separate living room areas, so everyone can spread out or be together. The bedrooms are varied, so there is a good spot for everyone. The photos are accurate and show this clearly. The beach is sandy and the water is shallow for quite a distance. Safe for children. Views are stunning, especially at sunrise! There are neighbors on both sides, but it’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and we felt that we had plenty of privacy. Although there is no AC, the house has plenty of windows and ceiling fans, and the lake breeze is steady, so we were comfortable. The house is very well maintained, so there is no trace of mold or mildew. I mention this because I am sensitive to mildew and it’s a deal-breaker for me, so I always check reviews very carefully. Special treat: a wonderful sauna ! We had a fabulous family vacation here and made so many happy memories at the beach, having meals on the deck, watching movies, having s’mores campfires, and enjoying our time together in comfort. Many thanks to the wonderful owner whose care for her guests is so obvious !
