Moonshine Mountain is a modern mountain chalet built in the traditional style. The great room's wood cathedral ceiling, wall of windows and large deck invites the outdoors inside for a feeling of tree house living. Enjoy the hot tub on the lower screened-in patio! Please note that access to this chalet includes 10 steps up to entry level from the driveway. Located within the Bryce Resort mountain community, it's a short 2.5 mile drive to the Resort's main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a 4 mile drive to the Basye Community Store.

It's a perfect home for one or two vacationing families and groups of friends that value tranquility while still being close to the Resort's many activities.
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The open, spacious great room includes the kitchen & peninsula bar, dining area and living room with a floor-to-ceiling stone gas log fireplace. The great room invites guests to go outside onto the full-house wrap-around deck, complete with four Adirondack chairs, table & chairs, and a Char-grill charcoal grill. The kitchen sports classy tall wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and dark granite countertops. It includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats six at the table and another two at the kitchen bar. A half-bathroom is just steps off the great room. The main floor also hosts the primary bedroom with queen bed with full en-suite bath. The upstairs loft with old school desk looks over the great room and provides access to two additional bedrooms with queen beds plus another full bathroom. The finished basement caters to kids and adults alike with plenty of lounge space, a shuffleboard table, a TV, games galore, and two sets of bunk beds -- one with twin bunks and the other with twin/full bunks, both with a bonus twin trundle bed built in. The lower screened-in patio has a hot tub that seat four. Sleeps 13 comfortably.
The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.
The main rooms and bedrooms have smart TVs that allow guests to log into popular streaming apps. WiFi internet is provided by 15mbps DSL, which is sufficient for working, video conferencing, web browsing, and TV streaming. There's a DVD player in the downstairs recreation room for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Reception Office.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You'll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, WiFi instructions, and other important information.
This property has a four-person hot tub, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. Firewood is provided from late fall through early spring.
Guests have unlimited access to the Bryce Mountain Escapes pool at our reception office (2565 Orkney Grade). The Bryce Resort pool is reserved for Bryce Resort member use only. See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It's private, rarely crowded, and open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.
