'Overall my husband and I were happy with the studio apt. Communication with the host was easy and the place was clean and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The place was centrally located with easy access to shops/restaurants as well as the Metra system to take us into Chicago. The one drawback is that there are no windows but the skylight adds enough natural light to the space and we were there to sightsee and not stay for extended periods in the apartment.'

'The unit was really nice. Had everything we needed. In a great area. It was only about a 10-15 minute drive to the navy base so made seeing my sailor easy and kept us in a good neighborhood. It was close to many other things to do and great places to eat! Easy check in and out process. '

'The property was nice and convenient for location. The floors were creaky but that's expected in an older home. The beds were nice and everything worked as it should. I did slip down the concrete stairs out front and have torn a muscle in my back in ice that formed over night. Be careful. Thank you for letting us rent your property. '

'Stayed here to attend my grandson’s graduation from Navy boot camp. Location is convenient to the Training Center in Great Lakes. Even better it’s walking distance to downtown Libertyville, IL, which is a charming little town with some great pubs and restaurants. Apartment is clean and has the necessities. It could use a few more pots and pans for those who want to cook, but overall a good stay. '

'The property is older with very creeky floors and busy road out front but the neighborhood was pleasant, easy to access and had designated parking in back. 'We stayed six nights. The beds are comfortable, the location is as described and parking is easy. The host was very responsive to our one request. '

'This was a good location for our son graduating from the Naval Academy. We chose this location because it had a pool. But in the fine print, we were only eligible to use the pool if we stayed for 30 days. Very misleading advertisement. Only one roll of toilet paper in each of the bathrooms for six people for four days.'

'Ma's Place was exactly perfect for us. Very dog friendly for all three of our little pooches. We all enjoyed our stay and slept comfortably for two nites. The apartment was neat as a pin and spic and span clean. '

'Very quick response at 12:30 am when we couldn’t get our code to work. Automatically let us in so we weren’t stuck outside in the cold and dark! Really great communication throughout our stay. '

'The host did a great job communicating what would be needed for the stay. The place was very clean and conveniently located in a quiet area. Definitely will consider returning in the summer'

'The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated.'

The inside of the unit is nicely done. The outside is a little worn. The manager was very responsive. The unit is well stocked.'

'Our dream is to one day own a home near a lake. We got a taste of it and definitely would like more of it. Cora Cottage on Fox Lake is just magical and magnificent.
