'We loved staying on this houseboat! It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I have a weak stomach but the very VERY subtle movement of the boat didn’t bother me, I actually found it soothing. Bring motion sickness meds if you’re worried and you won’t have any issues, I didn’t even need them! I’ll miss it and would definitely stay again!'

'Where else can you stay in a houseboat in the middle of the city? It is definitely a fun adventure. A few things to know: if you or anyone in your group has mobility issues this place is not for you. Steep stairs. Also you are in the city. It isn’t quiet. The hosts kindly leave earplugs but we sleep with white noise so not an issue for us. The kitchen is more of a Kitchenette. Great storage for clothing given it’s a houseboat. Management was quick to respond to questions. '

'We hebben een erg leuk weekend gehad op de boot van Anouk. We hadden een paar dagen regen en konden daardoor noch fietsen, noch varen, maar de boot biedt genoeg gezelligheid om daar prettig te verblijven. Het Heerenhuis aan de overkant is heel leuk om te eten. Vanuit Wormerveer (leuk Grieks restaurant vlakbij station!) is er een prima treinverbinding naar Amsterdam! Het contact met Anouk was steeds fijn; betrokken, helpend en meedenkend. '

'Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

'Casey is een superhost die je snel op je gemak stelt en wegwijs maakt op de boot en in de buurt. Ik heb heerlijk geslapen, al moet je wel tegen wat gewiebel kunnen op de boot. Een bootje is geen luxe hotel, het lijkt wat meer op kamperen, maar alles wat ik nodig had, was er. En meer dan dat: uitzicht over het water en direct kunnen lopen over de dijk zijn goud waard. De supermarkt is dichtbij en heeft heerlijk eten. En je bent zo in Amsterdam voor museumbezoek. Kortom, ik heb genoten.'

'We stayed three nights (family of four) in Casper’s boat. The location is perfect, short walk to/from Centraal Station and easy to get to everything within the city. Casper’s communication was top-notch and the accommodations on the boat were exactly as advertised. Highly recommended. '

'Casper is a helpful host/owner. He had a great list of recommendations and showed us around the property when we arrived. The studio was nice and a great location to the train station. With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. 'This was an incredible end to our trip. The town is so quaint and adorable with so many friendly people. The houseboat was gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. 'Loved Bob W. Stunning apartment complex, really good location - only a few stops on the bus to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus stop is right around the corner not even 2 minutes walk. "Mooi hotel alles ziet er nieuw en netjes uit. Kamer en badkamer zijn super netjes en goed afgewerkt. Vriendelijk personeel en ontbijt is top. Liggen is fantastisch je loopt zo het centrum in om lekker te shoppen of wat te eten of te drinken. "

"Wat een super mooi hotel. Het zit in een oud pand, wat ze helemaal gerenoveerd hebben, maar de oude details in ere hebben gelaten. Personeel is heel vriendelijk (spreken wij allemaal Engels ) Wij hadden een 4 persoonskamer, waar we bij binnenkomst meteen verrast waren. Heel ruim met een bank,,2 stoelen, bureau, koelkast met koffie/thee corner en een tweepersoonsbed welke heerlijk lag. Verder een hele leuke bedstee met een twee persoonsbed (vonden de kinderen heel leuk ). Badkamer was ook heel mooi en netjes. Kortom dit hotel is echt een aanrader. "
