'Overall great place for large gathering. Loved the beach walk into lake, hot tub and sunroom. Couple items to be aware of, lake is quite weedy, and house is right next to busy road which makes opening windows at night an issue. Also, could use more utensils etc to accommodate 15 people. Host was very responsive.'

'We needed a 3 to 4 bedroom house for a girls trip to Grand Rapids and this property fit the bill well. Reviews from previous guests described it as an older, well-kept and very clean house, which was spot on. The kitchen was well furnished, plenty of towels in both bathrooms and the linens on all beds were fresh and comfy. The 2 downstairs bedroom were not fancy, but definitely adequate. 'The house is updated inside and has everything you need. Close to lots of restaurants, stores, grocery stores, and the highways.'

'My husband and I wanted to take his 79 year old mother away for a peaceful weekend. This home was beautiful and the view was amazing! Everything was great with the exception of their being too many stairs for a senior citizen. Additionally, there was not a fully stocked coffee bar, which most rentals have. Because we arrived late, we were unable to enjoy a cup of coffee the first morning there. My husband and I would definitely stay again when we are back in Michigan.'

'Charming cottage on the Grand River. Peaceful, relaxing setting with so many choices how to spend your time from watching a movie on a big screen TV, kayaking in the river, cycling on a bike path and more.'

'Overall the stay was good. The house had plenty of beds and a large kitchen/dining room. We did have issues with the air conditioning not working while we were at the house, but luckily there were fans in every room for us to deal with the problem.'
