'Worst hotel we have ever stayed. Smoke smell in the room, carpet dirty, molt in the bathroom. No towels, no bed sheets for the second person. Complained at the front desk, there was no other room available. Waited, next day there was a room available. It was a bit cleaner but still not acceptable. 'The staff were very very nice and helpful from the front office staff to the staff at the breakfast restaurant . The hotel is well appointed , room was very spacious , bed was comfortable , heated floors . The hotel is a sight to behold and a great one to stay in . Would be back in a heart beat . 'Sewer smell in the room. It was not possible to change the room, because they “fixed” the problem. But smell stays for all 4 days. Air conditioning works very bad. Bed sheets were changed after only 3 days when I asked them to change. Outdated hotel, there are plenty hotels in the area at the same price level.'

'Beautiful property with large, gorgeous rooms and incredibly friendly staff. The location is great and very close to the Bulvar. Lots of restaurant options once you get to Bulvar also, and easy transportation via taxi or limousine. I would recommend views to the old city (Icherisheher), as the sea view rooms also face a busy street in the front. From the back, you can see the ancient city, it's quiet, and you have a great view of the Flame Towers. I would try to go to Baku when they're not...
