'This is a nice property at the crossroads of I-25 and US84. It was easy to get to, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is undergoing some renovations, but it was not a problem at all during our stay. The breakfast was unremarkable as are most motel breakfasts these days. The room was newly updated and comfortable. 'There are many people who have overly inflated expectations of what a hotel stay should be. The Springer Station takes those expectations and turns them on their head with a very characterful and charming experience. Sure, it's a shared bathroom place and the door knob on your room turns the wrong way but don't let that detract from the eclectic experience of staying in this historic building. The staff were pleasant enough, busying themselves with Halloween trick or treaters that evening....
