'Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee while watching the sunrise over East Bay and Artist’s Point. Loved listening and watching the waves. A nice quiet place in a warm cabin feel. Heater worked well!'

'Clean and comfortable spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of the big lake, and the location is wonderfully walkable. Have stayed in both units in this building and it is a favorite spot when coming to Grand Marais for a relaxing getaway. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the sunrise from bed!'

'We came up for our yearly snowmobile vacation and the cabin was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 larger dogs. John is very easy to contact and checks in periodically during stay to make sure everything is going okay. Not far from snowmobile trails so you can ride right to the trails . We will definitely be back!!!!'

'My kids and I stayed an extended weekend at this property. The facilities were as listed and it was only a 5 minute drive to the ski slopes. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay up on the north shore. I would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter as the driveway is steep and slippery in spots.'

'It was our 2nd stay & we just love this cabin. It is a perfect mix of rustic with just the right amount of updates to really be "rustic luxury." Beds are comfortable & cabin is clean. You can not beat the location! 30 feet from lake superior! Views are amazing! Close to lutsen for skiing, and close to cascade falls for hiking. You don't want to miss this one!'
