'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car. In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel.
