'A beautiful old building. Stunning views. The staff were amazing every one of them, could not do enough for you, anticipated needs before we had them. The food was stunning although rich and fancy, be nice to have lighter options. Could have been warmer but the fires were on and all radiators all the time and it was in the minus numbers in a very old house so it’s forgiven. '

'My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. '

'As a couple we hav stayed at The Burn How quiet a few times.its so convienient 5min walk and your in BOWNESS. So clean property is the owners staff excellent. Breakfast excellent. 5star all the way...well recommend .excellent. '
