'We stayed in several hotels throughout our vacation in Japan and this was by far our favorite hotel. Our room appeared to be newly renovated and was huge! Very clean and so much space. Bed was large and comfortable. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Shuttles are available to bus station which makes getting to town quicker. You could walk, however it would take awhile and we opted not to do that since it was cold. We enjoyed the hot springs. The view of Mt Fuji was incredible from...

'Hoshinoya Fuji is just so beautiful and serene. We stayed for two nights and had the most comfortable bed we slept in during our long trip to Japan. Service was very quick and gracious, always there to book a cab for us (no uber in this area) or bring us an in-room curry at the last minute. Donald hooked us up with amazing recommendations for hiking Mt Fuji and Aokigahara Forest. The breakfast and dinner prepared by the hotel were plentiful and delicious. 'Thank you Fuji Onsenji Yumedomo for an amazing, truly magical experience. It’s an excellent place for those who want a real glimpse into the Japanese hot spring bath culture. The hospitality is at the absolute highest level one could expect. The breakfast was incredible, so artful and delicious. I would love to return someday. '

'Good hotel, beautiful location on top of the hill with a great view of lake kawaguchi. The onsen was great and also with a view over the lake which makes it very nice and chill. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Just a few minor points from our point of view. Massages were done by an elderly couple. The woman gave an Ok massage, but the man was not good at all. We paid 14000 yen for an hour. Do not book this, not worth it! 2nd we specifically asked for the room to be cleaned, but they did...

'We were very lucky to have two beautiful days/nights near Mt. Fuji on Lake Yamanaka. We couldn't go on the lake since there was a high wind advisory. It was very convenient that the hot springs bath was in the hotel. We had the brrakfast the last morning and it was wonderful.'
