'We went during hurricane Helene. Under the stressful conditions and limited resources, I must say they definitely put forth the effort to make it as pleasurable as possible. Of course, they didn't have the usual amenities, and they were short staffed. Nonetheless, the rooms were clean and there were still fast breakfast options and kind staff. '

'The layout they do for breakfast is excellent. We really enjoy that.'

'I stayed the Saturday night after the hurricane and although no power or water it was a safe bed for the night. Massive thanks to the management team, a lovely couple who feed us and looked after the handful of people onsite in this very difficult time. As an Aussie this showed true USA spirit. Good luck with rebuild and getting back to normal. '

'What a beautiful, grand, old southern house. I felt like I stepped back in time but with touches of modern amenities. Very relaxing and set in a country landscape. Perfect for our small Executive Board retreat! '

'I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket.'

'We didn’t actually stay. I booked the room for my husband and his employees who were working on disaster clean up for the hurricane. Men who were exhausted and working for days without sleep or showers. Out of state. Paid for and booked this property just to get a message from the property owner after paying and not being able to cancel saying that the property was not for rent due to the hurricane. Then they stopped responding completely. '
