'Great staff and hotel! Very clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of choices provided for breakfast. I understand that an economy hotel can’t provide everything, but all of the “hot food” items provided had to be cooked in a microwave. The only non frozen hot item was the waffle machine. I will definitely stay here next year when are back in the area, but I will be better prepared for breakfast. '

'I think its great that this is a dog friendly hotel. but all dogs should only be allowed on the same floor. the dog in the room next door barked all night. I could not sleep. The shower stall could use a good grout scrubbing. Other than that the hotel staff is awesome.'

'I stayed the Saturday night after the hurricane and although no power or water it was a safe bed for the night. Massive thanks to the management team, a lovely couple who feed us and looked after the handful of people onsite in this very difficult time. As an Aussie this showed true USA spirit. Good luck with rebuild and getting back to normal. '

'What a beautiful, grand, old southern house. I felt like I stepped back in time but with touches of modern amenities. Very relaxing and set in a country landscape. Perfect for our small Executive Board retreat! '

'I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket.'

'We didn’t actually stay. I booked the room for my husband and his employees who were working on disaster clean up for the hurricane. Men who were exhausted and working for days without sleep or showers. Out of state. Paid for and booked this property just to get a message from the property owner after paying and not being able to cancel saying that the property was not for rent due to the hurricane. Then they stopped responding completely. '
