'I have been staying at Coconut Grove Beach Resort Elmina since 1995, when it was brand new. Since then few major changes or renovations have been made. This makes that the hotel is a little bit tired now. However, small upgrades in the last year or so keep accommodation / rooms at an acceptable level and the price level is ok for a beach resort. The location and surroundings of the hotel make up for any defects! Great location on the beach, nice terrace and swimming pool, with open air...

'Nice place to stay on the beach, gps directions to the place is not good at all, you have to call hotel for guidance. Road leading to hotel is very bad...beds are hard but beautiful place, security is good, food there is affordable and good..no night time entertainment '

'Enjoyed several night stay in March 2025 at property in beautiful spacious room facing the ocean. Property is very beautiful with a lovely swimming pool and restaurant and bar. Ocean access is restricted by rock barrier wall. Nice bathroom but recommend bringing non slip bath mat. Floors are slippery. Great stay in a historic area. '

"We had a wonderful stay here. Communication was good and fast, and the staff was friendly. The only point of improvement I have is the check-in time. I came directly from the airport. And when we arrived at the accommodation, we had to wait for 45 minutes to an hour before we could go to our apartment. Because we had to wait for the agent. After a long flight, you just want to go to your room and relax. Nonetheless, the agent was very friendly and helpful. So 5 stars."
