'Great cabin, everything was clean and orderly. We did have a hard time finding it, as there were no address numbers on the cabin. That’s the only reason for 4 stars on the check-in process. Other than that, it was great. Thank you!'

'Such a cute, cozy place. Was lucky to catch a beautiful sunset one night, and the dock was perfect to sit and relax and stare off into the water. Loved our stay and would stay again!!'

'Very much enjoyed our stay in downtown Edenton. Beautiful, cozy little cottage... clean and well-appointed. Nice furnishings, linens, kitchen, etc. There was nothing at all to disappoint. Well-located; we walked to everything. Loved this town, its people and this home. Thank you!'

'We found the Jewel Box to be just as described and had a lovely stay. Erik and Lia are attentive hosts and checked with us after we arrived and again the next day to make sure all was OK. We had no problems but I’m sure they would have handled anything that came up. The location is perfect for walking to the historic district; in fact, some of the interesting historic sites on the trolley tour are practically back-door neighbors of the Jewel Box. '

'Our family of 6 adults plus two dogs had the best time in this beautiful home and town! The house and cottage were perfect for us. The host thought of everything and provided many extras. The property is lovely and it was great being able to walk to town. The host was very prompt in responding to inquiries. Highly recommend this place!!!'
