'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'I got to the property and was upgraded to a room 3 times the size I had booked. The room was grand with expansive ocean views however, the flooring under the dining table was scratched beyond repair. The sliding doors to get out to the patio were difficult to open and close and many of the aspects of the property showed some ageing.'

'Amazing! We stayed here for two nights. Booked a room which we thought had a lovely view but we looked over on a few cars. We mentioned this and received an amazing room with view on the seaside. Rooms are large and the area is also lovely to stay for a couple days. We also rent bikes from the hotel, you can cycle all the way to other beaches. The only bad thing was that our tap in the bathroom didn’t flush properly, so you couldn’t keep it open for over a few seconds but that might be a...
