'Perfect destination and people are so dedicated and hard working. Everywhere you go you are welcomed with a smile. A 9/10 in my opinion with only Two things that need to be better: 1. The cocktails aren’t very nice. I tried many of them but none of them tasted like it supposed to be tasting 2. Transfers are poorly organised and take a lot of time. 'I stayed in Diamond Athuruga in late October with my family. This is a small island and it is perfect if you wish to have a quiet week or two of rest. We loved the food, the beaches and the people working there. 'Excellent resort. We missed our flight and the resort amended our booking free of charge. Rooms are spotless. Staff are all very nice. Food is great and lots of variety. The island is beautiful and the beach is kept clean. This place is 100% value for money. Maybe not the most luxurious resort at Maldives but for an affordable price u can experience a water chalet stay at Maldives. Only minor point would be the hardness of the bed... But a lot of hotels have this issue. I wouldn't hesitate...

'The resort was wonderful, the staff were great, food was good and healthy (aside from the desert bar, haha). My only request to improve the stay is to limit the areas that people can smoke, it was very hard to find somewhere that was free of cigarette smoke.'

'I was debating between several islands within the Maldives. I am SOOOO happy my family and I choose to stay with The W. The service was absolutely impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and 3 year old daughter (especially Ms. Hadi and Mr. Ali). 'We hadden een waterbungalow en dat was heel fijn want we konden vanaf een trap zo het water in om te snorkelen. Het eten is goed, veel Italiaans en vers. 'Safari Island was paradise for us, with easy access to the reef for snorkelling. Facilities were well spread out. With more than 100 guests, the resort experience felt very private. The food was exceptional and 'half board' (full international buffet breakfast and dinner) was enough for us, with our own fruit and snacks. 'Perfect little gem of a resort. Delicious food, with locally-sourced options at every meal (don't miss the fish tacos!). Warm and friendly personal service. Diving is exceptional - instructors are patient with beginners and offered bespoke itineraries for qualified divers. The house reef is lively and healthy, and for sites further afield the best dive boat this side of the Caribbean. Rooms are beautifully put together. Just lovely. '

'Nice location, friendly staff. We stayed for one night before heading to Male early in the morning. The hotel organized us a night fishing with proper gear (only one per three persons) and knowledgeable fishermen. Afterwards they grilled the catch and prepared us a proper goodbye dinner. "The chefs and waitstaff are very friendly, but I find the management to be completely inflexible. They appreciate your feedback, but essentially do nothing with it. Issues are not resolved on the spot, nor do they offer any proposals. This makes your stay not very comfortable."

"A very nice resort, beaitifulvillas, great kitchen in lime buffet restaurantand the best waiter Navaaz we ever jad. Thank you so much. A must do is a dinmer at maldive restaurant. When 1 thing is to mention what is not perfect, it is the fact that hotel is not onr next to a coral reef.neverteless we saw many nice fishes during snorkling."

"We hadden een waterbungalow en dat was heel fijn want we konden vanaf een trap zo het water in om te snorkelen. Het eten is goed, veel Italiaans en vers. De bungalows staan wel dicht bij elkaar en er is geen afscherming van je buren. Klein eiland met eigen huisrif. Koraal is niet meer zo mooi maar er zwemmen heel, heel veel verschillende vissen wat echt prachtig is. Helaas hadden wij veel regen en veel wind, ongebruikelijk eind december dus dat was een beetje pech. Watervliegtuig was geweldig. Dank aan al het vriendelijke personeel. "
