'We paid for an upgraded room with private outdoor fireplace for 5 nights. It rained part of the time, but there were plenty of times when it was dry. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the fireplace even once, because the cushions on the outdoor chairs were soaked and could never dry out due to cold temps. The staff should be provided covers for the cushions (or should remove them) during rainy times. This upgrade was of no value to us. That was very disappointing.'

'Only negative is the third bed was not made and we had only 2 sets of towels. After asking we tot the art of towels and linnen but had to make the bed ourself'

'A quiet comfortable hotel in the very center of Calistoga. The small outdoor mineral pool, open 24 hours, is nice temperature. Aircon is excellent and a small breakfast of coffee and pastries is provided, as are comfortable bathing robes. '
