'A great find in an amazing seaside town. This firehouse converted to lodging was everything we expected by the online info and more. We were fortunate to find an open room in the middle of summer and it was worth every penny! Definitely recommend and will stay again when in the area.'

'Not far from town but on the outskirts, either drive or cycle the excellent cycleways to town. Huge property, quiet and private. Really well equipped. A good place to be central to everything but come to for rest and relaxing. Great find. '

'We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. '

'we had a very comfortable stay at Cameron's beachfront...much needed after walking the Copland track into and out from Welcome Flats. The beach out from the accommodation was a treat.....and being able to watch the sun set. A great spot to unwind and visit local spots....that's what we'll do next time!'

'A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good...
