'Easy access to Whangarei. Love the pool and spa. Makes for a great weekend away.'

'It was a hurried booking and the price was more than reasonable, so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was a 1 bedroom room (I had booked a studio) with full kitchen, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in the shower, sealed toothbrush & toothpaste packages in the bathroom. Sure the place has a bit of age on it but it was all in very clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets had that fresh laundry smell.'

'Het us een oud hotel maar het bed was prima. In de aangrenzende bar is savonds live muziek en dat hoor je, maar ik had er niet al te veel last van. De locatie kan onhandig zijn als je bijv wilt gaan duiken op de Poor Knights want daar ligt t ver vanaf. ( je wordt dan wel opgehaald maar dat weer $40 .'
