'Close to Amtrak Station. Really good food and open for meals when you get in late. They have a nice bar with nice bartenders, and a restaurant for a really good breakfast. Very impressive large lobby. '

'Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!'

'I wanted to love our stay at The Sterling so much more. It’s a beautiful property and the rooms are giant and gorgeous, but the lack of upkeep was really apparent. In our first floor room, the 2 upholstered armchairs by the window were both stained, one with a 10” stain right in the center of the seat. One of the lace drapes from our bay windows was missing. And the jacuzzi was giant and generally clean, but was cracked and the jet nozzles looked concerning enough where I didn’t necessarily...
