'Drove the kids crazy with no Internet lol. Took a few minutes to figure things out but we survived . It was a little further than we anticipated but we managed.'

'The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. '

'It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!'

'We loved the spaciousness as well as separate areas that permitted 3 different family groups to stay at the house. We feasted, watched & played football, crafted, and played in the game room. We were able to include our daughter's family that lives nearby and is caring for a terminally ill child. This home facilitated us having such a wonderful time together as family. '

'First impression was to notch. Location was breathtaking. House was very clean (wife says it was one of the clematis houses we've stayed). Kitchen and the rooms were well- stocked with all necessities. The morning sunrise on the balcony was amazing. We were only there for a few days to attend our daughter's wedding at the Virginia International Raceway (only 14 minute drive!). We would've loved to stay longer to actually enjoy the lake but we were too busy in all the wedding preparations. Only...
